Slider Constraints

Slider constraints enable the Parts Adjustment feature in EmoteLab. They allow users to fine-tune character parts using sliders that control animation-based adjustments. To make sliders available in EmoteLab, you must put them in a specific folder named Character (case-insensitive).

How Slider Constraints Work

Slider constraints in Spine control animation timing values. When users adjust a slider in EmoteLab, they're essentially controlling where in an animation timeline a particular part should be, which affects its position, rotation, or appearance.

Requirements

  • Slider constraints must have an Animation attached
  • The Loop option must be disabled
  • The Bone of the slider must be empty
  • The Mix must be set to 100

Value Range

  • Minimum: 0 (start of animation)
  • Maximum: Animation duration (end of animation)
  • Default: Setup pose time value

Users can adjust values anywhere within this range using the slider.
