Parts Adjustment

Parts Adjustment uses sliders to fine-tune specific aspects of your character's parts. While Parts Selection lets you choose which parts to use, Parts Adjustment lets you modify how those parts appear—their position, rotation, state, or other properties. Not all parts can be adjusted.

Locating the Parts Adjustment List

The Parts Adjustment list is located in the Parts tab (clothing/apparel icon), typically on the right side of the interface.

Understanding the Parts Adjustment List

The Parts Adjustment list displays all available sliders for the currently loaded model. Each entry in the list represents one slider and shows:

Parts Adjustment List

  • Slider Name: The name of the slider (e.g., "Bang Length", "Ear Shape")
  • Overwrite Toggle: A checkbox that enables or disables manual control over the slider
  • Slider Control: A horizontal slider bar that you can drag to adjust the value
  • Value Display: A numeric input field showing the current value (allows direct value entry)

The list is scrollable, so you can browse through all available sliders even if there are many of them.

Overwrite Toggle

  • When Overwrite is ON (checked): The slider is active and you have full control. You can adjust the value to any position within the min/max range.
  • When Overwrite is OFF (unchecked): The slider is inactive and appears grayed out. The slider returns to its default value.
tip

If you want to reset the slider, simply toggle it off and on. The slider will go back to the default value.

How to Adjust Parts with Sliders

How to Adjust Parts with Sliders

To adjust a part using sliders:

  1. Locate the slider you want to modify in the Parts Adjustment list
  2. Enable the overwrite toggle by checking the checkbox
  3. Adjust the value using one of these methods:
    • Drag the slider to adjust the value
    • Use the input field located next to the slider to enter an exact value
  4. View the character in the viewport to see the changes in real-time. Changes to slider values are applied immediately to your character in the viewport.

Troubleshooting

Slider Not Responding

  • Check overwrite toggle: Ensure the toggle is checked (enabled)
  • Try clicking the slider area: Click directly on the slider to auto-enable overwrite

Changes Don't Appear

  • Verify slider name: Some sliders may affect parts that aren't visible (e.g., if the Horn is not visible, adjusting the Horn Length slider does not affect anything)
  • Try extreme values: Set the slider to min or max to see if any change occurs
